Kimberly Valentine has been teaching elementary orchestra in the Spackenkill Union Free School District in New York’s Hudson Valley for almost 20 years, and has been a NYSSMA string adjudicator for 15 years. As a bassist, she has performed with several regional symphonies, most recently as a member of the Northern Dutchess Symphony Orchestra. She received her B.M. in Music Education from the University of North Texas and her M.M.Ed. in Instrumental Pedagogy from the Hartt School of Music.
